Larmine Bedroom
Design a bedroom that supports better rest
Thoughtful guidance for beds, mattresses, lighting, textiles, storage, and a calm atmosphere.
A premium bedroom feels quiet, comfortable, and easy to use. Prioritize sleep conditions and practical movement first; decorative layers should support that foundation rather than compete with it.

Bed & Mattress Planning
Measure the room, delivery path, frame, foundation, mattress height, and circulation before selecting a sleep system.
Bedroom Lighting
Balance ambient light with bedside task lighting and low-level illumination for comfortable evenings.
Calm Storage
Reduce visual noise with storage sized to real clothing, linens, electronics, and daily habits.
Begin with the bed and circulation
The bed is usually the visual and functional anchor. Maintain a comfortable path where people need to walk, open drawers, access closets, and use both sides of the bed. Check mattress and foundation compatibility, total sleep height, support requirements, warranty terms, and whether the frame can be assembled inside the room.
Mattress comfort is personal. Consider sleeping position, body support, temperature preferences, motion isolation, edge use, trial terms, and the practical process for returning a large item.
Use light to support the body’s rhythm
Include enough general light for cleaning and dressing, focused light for reading, and a softer option for winding down. Bedside controls should be easy to reach. Blackout curtains can improve darkness, while a layered window treatment preserves daytime softness and privacy.
Make storage part of the architecture
Choose nightstands and dressers according to what they need to hold, not simply as a matching set. Closed storage creates visual calm; open shelves are best reserved for a smaller number of useful or meaningful objects. Secure tall furniture appropriately and keep cords organized.
Create warmth without clutter
Layer tactile materials through bedding, a rug, curtains, upholstered pieces, and one or two natural accents. A restrained palette can still feel rich when it includes variation in texture and tone.
